Are you looking for an opportunity where your leadership and sales performance can make you an instant hero within your company?  TML has an opportunity for a strong, stable, and seasoned B2B Sales Manager. 

About you:

  • You're comfortable being a BIG FISH in a small pond: that means you are skilled at hiring, retaining, and most importantly coaching a Sales Team to achieve quota. In fact, you're a pro at hitting quota before your ramp period is up, and then continuing to over-perform.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience working as a Sales Manager for a smaller company or branch (this is where the "small pond" comes in), and can navigate a fast-moving, rapidly changing, sometimes ambiguous environment with ease.
  • You have career stability and professionally maturity. We're coming out of a "rebuilding year," and therefore, have a premium on STABILITY.  This means that you have a track record of success across multiple years at the same company.  (If you're a self-professed Rainmaker or Rockstar that changes organizations every 2-3 years to advance your career, we're excited for you, but you won't love it here.)
  • Own. Pipeline. Generation. You don't make excuses; you help your team make opportunities to fill the funnel.  Beyond that, you are a pro at creating and executing account strategies, maintaining customer satisfaction, and closing opportunities.
  • Bottom Line: you have a track record of 3 years achieving a team quota of $250k/month, you've hired and trained multiple successful Sales Reps, your business acumen is strong, and your professional maturity is high. Ideally you have a Bachelor's or Associate's degree, but this isn't a deal breaker with the right combination of training and experience.

The NUMBER ONE key to your success hinges on your ability to lead and mentor your team:

  • Achieve quota with a positive, "no excuses" mindset, and instill the same in your team members.
  • Build trust and rapport with individual team members to get their buy-in. Your current team consists of a mix of industry veterans, newcomers with sales experience that have hit the ground running, and eager college hires.  You'll also have the opportunity to hand select three more members of your team.
  • Mentor your team members by modeling your own exceptional sales competence and leadership skills. Hold yourself and your team accountable for pipeline growth through consistent communication and coaching.  On a weekly basis, you'll spend the majority of your time in the field with your team members coaching them on prospecting, conducting first appointments, giving presentations, and closing.  You'll also manage two warm-call blitzes each week and lead two Sales Trainings each month.
  • Invest in your team's success by co-authoring individual and team development plans. These help them achieve their professional and financial goals, which of course ensures your own professional and financial success!

Your business acumen and proficiency with technology must be high, since we're a technology company!

  • Deliver an accurate and detailed monthly forecast using Compass Sherpa (our CRM).
  • Craft complex proposals with a high degree of confidence and strategic thought, using Excel, PowerPoint, and Compass Sherpa.
  • Establish a routine to evaluate upgrades or sales with current and potential clients in order to deepen our relationships and broaden our influence across multiple industry verticals (including religious, medical, associations, real estate, and finance).

  • On-target earnings of $115k (our Sales Managers averaged $119,885.67 in compensation over the past three years, independent of their car allowance)
